Lily Allen Talks Britney

We all know Lily Allen is an attention whore, so of course she has to open up about Britney when everyone else does; love this bitch.

quote:
"I love Britney and I think she's brilliant," says Lily Allen.

"But I can totally see what she went down the route she did with the whole hair-shaving thing. If you were young, had that much money, and people treated you like that and you've got doctors and prescription drugs, yeah you're gonna go crazy!"

And because I think she's a badass for punching some chick in the face that was being verbally abusive

Nobodies Comment On Britney's "Circus" Tour

Apparently all the D-listers had a secret meeting recently to blab about Britney. Too bad Swift got her own post earlier.

Life & Style magazine asked these stars what they thought of Britney's upcoming "Circus" tour:

quote:
"I know how it feels to be in a world where everyone controls everything. I have so much respect for her."
- Kelly Osbourne

"I love that girl. I was looking up some stuff on YouTube from back in the day. I wish the best for her."
- Twilight's Nikki Reed

"I've been a huge fan since day one, so I will be first in line to get tickets to her show."
- Dancing with the Stars' Lacey Schwimmer

Blog Post Taken From BBC Radio 1

So, we were talking last week about Britney Spears smuggling a rude message into her song 'If You Seek Amy', and whether radio stations should feel obliged to play it, even though it's a kind of schoolyard provocation*, and therefore tantamount to bullying (if you really overthink things).

Well, it seems a solution has arrived, in form of a rerecorded version of the song, especially for the radio. Instead of singing "all of the boys and all of the girls are begging to if you seek Amy" and offending crossword puzzlers the world over, Britney will now sing "if you see Amy".

This is clearly much better because now the innocent interpretation of the line will make as much sense as it ever did (ie: none), and the dirty version will have Britney singing "F. U. C. A." instead of, er... *blushes*

Which is palpable nonsense, but not actual obscenity.

To get a full perspective on the ramifications of such a change, I spoke to Steve Perkins, ChartBlog's Britney correspondent, and he said: "I do not approve. "All of the boys and all of the girls are begging to F.U.C.A. me?" RUBBISH. JUST RELEASE 'AMNESIA', ALREADY.

There. I think that's all sorted out now. *dusts hands*

*It's not unlike that game where you go up to a girl and say "are you a pig?" and when they say no, you sneer at them and go "Uhhh! You're not a Pretty Intelligent Girl!", and then run off.

It’s Britney, B*tches! Crews Groove To Spears’ Hits This Week

In past seasons, ABDC brought you challenges inspired by Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson and Missy Elliott, to name a few– and now it’s time to add Britney to the mix! This week, each crew will be given one of Brit’s hits and asked to create a routine that resembles her choreography. Plus: Britney’s choreographer, Andre Fuentes, will be meeting with the crews during rehearsal to present them an additional surprise challenge. (More details on that coming soon!)

Below are this week’s song selections! (And yes, Ringmasters got “Circus”.)

Strikers All-Stars - “Gimme More”
Fly Khicks - “Baby One More Time”
Quest Crew - “Toxic”
Dynamic Edition - “Stronger”
Beat Freaks - “Womanizer”
Ringmasters - “Circus”
Team Millennia - “Me Against The Music”

Taylor Swift’s Unwavering Devotion to Britney Spears

While Taylor Swift was out in Los Angeles filming what she calls her “life-changing guest appearance on CSI,” it seems her mom did a little redecorating/organizing/cleaning in her daughter’s room. And Swift blogged about the rearrangement and her dismay over almost losing her Britney Spears poster from the sixth grade. It wasn’t in its rightful place in the bathroom. It had been relocated to her bedroom — a change she’s loving. “This way, I see it more often, and it more proudly displays my unwavering devotion to Britney Spears,” she said. Swift has talked, often, about being influenced by country artists like Shania Twain, Faith Hill and the Dixie Chicks. But this Spears thing was news to me. I think you’d be hard-pressed to find any girl who didn’t get caught up in the infectious tunes and catchy hooks of Brit in her heyday. It does make me wonder, though, if the feeling is mutual now that Swift has taken over Spear’s reign as the “it” girl of teen idols.

Is Britney Spears Writing Her Autobiography?

Oh gosh...i got this news one week late...
so lets hear this;

After scoring a platinum album, two hit singles and a much sought-after comeback over the past few months, is Britney Spears capping off her streak of good fortune by writing her autobiography?

Britain's Mirror claims the 27-year-old pop queen is close to signing a $20 million publishing deal, wherein she'll spill everything about her turbulent life as a pop star.

"There have been numerous unofficial biographies printed about Britney, but she's never agreed to pen her own tome—until now," says a source.

"And some of the stories she's got are absolute dynamite. She's kept diaries so there's nothing she'll leave out unless she wants to."

Previously Britney opened up in the MTV documentary For the Record about her ups and downs throughout 2007 and early 2008.

The program aired in November.

"If the deal goes ahead she will write between three and five books throughout the next decade—it's one of the most lucrative book deals in showbiz history," the Mirror source continues.

"Britney will talk frankly about growing up and how she went off the rails. It'll be a gripping read."

Britney is said to be getting down to business with writing the book once she completes her upcoming world tour.

Get your reading glasses ready, y'all!

Britney Spears tour to be three-ring circus in the round

The layout for Britney Spears’ ‘Circus’ tour has appeared online, and it shows that the concerts will be performed in the round, with the audience surrounding a three-ring circus layout.

Ticketmaster.com shows there will be limited ringside seats available for the show, with general admission standing room in the remaining floor area.

The US leg of the tour kicks off March 3 in New Orleans, in her home state of Louisiana and wraps up April 28 in Chicago’s Allstate Arena.

As previously reported, a conservative parents' group is protesting Spears' new single, 'If U Seek Amy', claiming it is indecent for US radio stations to broadcast it during peak hours.

However, the group's objections have not prevented radio stations from airing the third single from Spears' recent album 'Circus'.
